Description

Typically long line pipe work and heating elements are located in areas where access is limited. Since SEH system heating cables are installed into a carbon steel heat pipe the electrical safety against direct contact and the mechanical strength is no issue.

BARTERC solutions Pull & Splice Boxes for SEH system heating cables and heat tubes are mainly an auxiliary device to pull and install the BARTEC SEH Skin Effect Heating cable into the metal ferromagnetic tube. Therefore the BARTEC solutions Pull & Splice Boxes is only sealed once with silicone.

The silicone sealant 02-5535-0002 forms a tackfree skin in 15 to 30 minutes at ambient temperature about 25 ?C and relative humidity about 50 %. Further tooling is hot recommendend after.

The SEH heating system element generates heat used for the power output by the inductive interaction through current flow in the conductor installed in the heat pipe. The current returns though the welded assembly heat pipe and pull & splice box.
