BARTEC Is Nominated for the Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises

Since 1995 when the award was given for the first time, the ‘‘Großer Preis des Mittelstands’’ (Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises) has become the most important German business award. Already in 2009, BARTEC was able to convince the Jury with its positive overall development, the exceptional innovative strength and the comprehensive engagement in the region and were out of the competition as finalist.Every year in November, there is a call for proposals by the Oskar-Patzelt-foundation in which the municipalities and associations are asked to nominate outstanding medium-sized enterprises for the competition. BARTEC was again proposed for this award to the Jury in 2014. The selection of prize winners and finalists is now made by twelve regional juries and a national jury. The nominated enterprises are assessed in their entirety and at the same time for their role within the community. BARTEC must prove itself to the Jury in five categories: in the overall development of the enterprise, the creation and securing of work and training positions, the modernisation and innovation, the engagement in the region as well as in the fields of service, customer proximity and marketing. The awards gala for the distribution of prizes for companies from Bayern, Baden-Württemberg, Hessen and Thüringen will take place on 13th September 2014 in Wurzburg.
